When does the local branch meet?
We usually meet monthly for an open branch meeting where we discuss current matters and decide such things as which pubs to nominate for the Good Beer Guide, which to award a Pub of the Season and/or Pub of the Year certificate to, all done democratically and as fairly as we can.
Other topics include beer festivals, pub preservation and local pub news, which is the main source of content for the news pages of our quarterly branch magazine, Real Ale Talk.

OC Freehouse
Presentation of the Summer Pub of the Season award
Since Katie took the reins, the Old Colonial has been transformed into the OC Freehouse and regained its status as a popular destination with many attractions, including a good turnover of real ale on at least two pumps, with well chosen beers kept in great condition. The presentation is intended to take place just before the quiz which starts at 8:30. - Branch Social, Liversedge

Cross Keys
Social starting at the Cross Keys, then a 15 minute walk downhill for 8pm or so to the former Pub of the Year and Good Beer Guide regular, the Black Bull, where we will find perhaps eight well-kept ales from Ossett and guest brewers.
The 200 bus stops right outside the Cross Keys on both sides, then from the Black Bull the 229 (Union Road stop) and 268 (on Bradford Road) each stop a few minutes walk from the pub. - Branch meeting and AGM

A brief monthly meeting covering essential points followed at 7:30pm by the branch AGM.

Lower Hopton WMC
Social starting at Lower Hopton WMC which has one or two well-kept ales, followed around 7:45 by the award-winning Flowerpot, then around 8:45 the Navigation, the latter two providing a good selection of ales of varied styles, kept in Good Beer Guide quality.

Monthly Members' Meeting including regular business, pub news and
voting for our Autumn Club of the Season (proxy voting available)
